Halde Design System

Halde is a family hardware store whose mail order catalogue had not changed in twenty years.

I moved the catalogue online and built a small design system around it: every product as a silhouette on white with a single shadow, a clear grid and a search that understands the names people actually use.

Online orders grew by a fifth in the first year, and the in-house team now adds products without a designer.
